At Kampong Glam
Last Thursday, I went to Kampong Glam and learnt about the Malay culture. At a Mosque, we took out our shoes before we went inside. We saw a few people in the Mosque chatting quietly. We knew what was expected of us and didn't shout or litter on the floor.
Then, I saw ladies wearing baju kurongs eating and drinking in coffee shops. I could tell that they enjoyed it alot.
I think that the Kampong Glam trip really taught me about religions and Malay cultures. We should all respect each other regardless of whether they are Malays, Indians, Caucasians or Chinese. Thats what Racial Harmony is all about.
This trip will be forever etched in my heart.
